This book was SO good. I had been seing it around for about the past week and was iffy about it, so I downloaded the sample and by the end of that sample I was talking to the computer screen- "You can't just leave it there!" So I bought the story and could NOT be happier.Lindsey is such a sweet Hero. He made my heart melt :) I especially loved how everyone else called him Eddie and Garnet called him Lindsey, to me it was a special bond for them. Although I loved this story it wasnt perfect. I couldnt understand how she came to the conclusion she did when they initially broke up and why she would listen to Beth knowing how she is I dont know but.... But what would a romance book be without miscommunication right? Finding out what happened after Garnet left broke my heart. I can not recommend this book enough now I am off to check this authors other stories out.

Emjae Edwards takes us for a very exciting ride as we follow Garnet Steele from one coast to the other, trying to get her life back together after her first love goes very wrong. Highly recommended.
I'm looking forward to reading this story again. This is what I call a 'journey' book, with many memorable scenes along the way, as opposed to a 'destination' book, where all that matters is the ending. The characters are just like the frustrating, maddening, sometimes unreasonable people we spend time with every day, but when the truth penetrates,it turns out that they are just as reasonable and nice as you or I.
